Return and Refund Policy – Simple Jerky
1. Voluntary Return Policy (30 Days – Limited for Food Products)
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, we offer a voluntary return policy of 30 days from the receipt of goods. However, this return policy does not apply without restrictions to all product categories.
Beef jerky and other food products can only be returned if they are:

Unopened,
-
Undamaged,
-
In their original packaging, and
-
Non-perishable according to applicable food legislation.
Returns are excluded if the seal has been removed after delivery.

After approving your return, we will provide you with a return shipping label and relevant instructions if necessary. Returns received without prior notification cannot be processed.
2. Damages and Complaints
Please check your order immediately upon receipt. If an item is damaged, spoiled, or incorrectly delivered, please contact us immediately at office@simplejerky.at. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible to resolve the issue.
3. Exceptions to the Right of Return
The following types of products are excluded from the right of return:

Perishable food items, especially our beef jerky,

Sealed products that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons if the seal has been removed after delivery,

Customized or personalized items,

Gift cards and promotional items.
If you have questions about returning a specific product, you can contact us at any time.
4. Exchanges
Direct exchanges are not possible. Please return the original item (if applicable) and place a new order.
5. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (14 Days for Consumers in the EU)
Regardless of our voluntary return policy, as a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU law, unless a legal exception exists (see section 3).
The right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable or sealed food products for hygiene reasons if the seal has been opened.
If withdrawal is possible, the period begins on the day you or a third party designated by you (who is not the carrier) receives the goods. The item must be unopened, unused, and complete. Proof of purchase is required.
6. Refunds
Once the return has been received and inspected, we will inform you about the approval of the refund.
If approved, the refund will be processed within 10 business days using your original payment method.
Please note that, depending on your payment provider, additional processing time may be required.
